Silence.
I’m having this intense need for silence. I’d consider not talking for a day but it would make my life very hard. So hopefully just some peace can come my way.
Speaking of, at our washing of the feet ceremony tonight we gave the peace to everyone in the room. Like 40 people I reckon. It seemed like a big task hugging and kissing so many people. I don’t know why that seems different to church.

Hi Jem, I have just come back from a silent retreat- perhaps you would like to go there sometime- Jamberoo abbey, very beautiful and very peaceful, i think you’d really like it. They have a website…. somewhere….
silence was better than I expected, and emphasised by the glorious weather and surrounds of the south coast… mmmmm, lovely.

Wow that’s so cool. I have heard of that place but I didn’t actually know they ran silent retreats. Maybe I will go there on one of my retreats. That sounds great.
