Ursh’s birthday celebration. A bit of a shindig where we took our new favourite dessert ‘Carlotta’.
Went to an Anglican church. Fascinating. I knew we were reading the creed not because of the words but because the intonation was exactly the same. There was something that creeped me out about this.
Xalapa has a fair or feria at the moment. Went on Monday night with the people from my house. Played on dodgem cars which I haven’t done for a very long time. What´s more, dodgem cars without OHS rules. And rollercoasters.
Met a guy called Ramon who wants to study in Australia.
Felt more mentally tired and not physically tired for the first time because I´d spoken too much spanish.
Watched the whole of We Can Be Heroes. We tried to embrace our Australianism by celebrating Anzac Day without an oven. So we couldn’t make anzac biscuits. Instead we drank beer and watched Australian comedy.
Developed prints in the dark room. Drank beer with the rest of the class too. Only here. Only here eh.
