A years lesson.
Another uncanny Gabby thing is that she just so happens to have this quote on her wall which seems to sum up all the lessons I feel in some way I supposed to learn this year.
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the Glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.â€

Yeah I came across this statement doing Sydney Leadership and it became the theme thing for me too. “Your playing small does not serve the world”. Thats pretty freaky stuff. Still scares me.
Nelson’s the man,
yes he’s the man

Nelson Mandela, tell them what you’ve seen,
They’re blind and their afraid of the lights in thier own hearts
Nelson Mandela, oh, help us all to see
Courage and vision cannot be imprisoned
Only love can unite us all.
Mandela
Mandela is free.
Nelson Mandela gave us a gift
Worth more than all the diamonds in Africa
Nelson Manela gave us a gift
Courage and vision can not be imprisoned
His wisdom and love showed us all.
