Team CommieHouse goes on expedition.
Team CommieHouse(minus Tom- sadly) went and did the Bay Run this arvo to relieve our various troubles, stresses etc. This seemed like a great procrastination tool. I thought that surely I would be able to make up for lost time with the added energy I would get from such a long pretty run.
Jo used a very persuasive technique to hook me in, by asking if I wanted to go, and I was pulled for it. On the way, I realised that I’d been watching time on Ryan’s clock, which I should have known better. But I somehow managed to lose 2 hours rather than 1 with this run. But I love Day Light Saving and after tomorrow I doubt I’ll even notice the hours I lost on all my uni work. Because tomorrow evening actually Tuesday arvo brings the near near moment of holidays. Hooray.
I begin work at Oxfam this week. It’s rather exciting. I am working lots of days. That’s exciting too. Hopefully I’ll get real good at operating that till by the end of it.
I’m enjoying Augie March so much at the moment. But its rather distracting. It’s okay for doing design work. That’s also another realisation I have come to this week. Designers must listen to a lot of music. Which is not a complaint. I love music. And I don’t think I’ll go into my complaints about being a designer because my poor little head won’t cope with the woes of that at the moment. I think I may just continue on and cross that problem of dis-satisfaction at a later date.
