funnies times 2
I saw a funny movie last night. Little Miss Sunshine. It reminded me to embrace the not caring what the world thinks of me resolution I made awhile back.
Losers and winners was kinda prevalent throughout, and the losers have this endearing real and honest quality about them.
Anyway, today in hope of course to embrace such ideals of failure I walked to buy a ticket at Central with such purpose and coolness, looking back at the train times, I suddenly felt something rather large in front of me. I was embarrassed of course because I thought I had walked straight into a large man. Ready to apologise I looked up and realised it was a huge pole about 1/2 a metre wide. The guy in the ticket booth laughed at me. I laughed with him.
I giggled to myself for awhile, then felt really uncool for awhile, and then…
I decided…
that it was about me embracing my daggy, failure, real side. And that sat with me marvellously well.
And by coincidence I happened to see Tom Bom getting on my train and got to give him a good kick up the bum to surprise greet him.
