“caterpillar’s are too much responsibility.” - Mil
We had feared that Amigito was dead. But today, Amigo started doing the same thing as Amigito looked like. Except that Amigo’s outside body is dead, but he’s still wriggling. So he is cocooning. It’s so exciting. Our big caterpillar is growing up.
I hope that he turns into a moth for the house warming. The other good news is, I don’t think Amigito was dead. I feel much less bad about the death of Amigito if he wasn’t really dead. Although I am mildly concerned as to what this new found evidence may do to Tom’s sermon illustration of knowing something is dead and relating it to Amigito. Because we just thought and assumed he was dead when he may actually not have been. I think this definitely weakens the illustration for “knowing” something is dead.
But…maybe it doesn’t matter so much. We should rejoice, Amigito didn’t die. Perhaps it’s a great illustration, it’s like the resurrection.
