2 January 2006
Hawksberry river in my nose.
A few folk, them being, me, Jo, Mil y Martin, Ryan and Libby, and Keith and Stella went for a little drive to Windsor yesterday to greet the heat head on and greet the New Year in the water. We spent most of the day in the lovely polluted water down there and played silly games like Chinese Whispers underwater, as well as some tea parties on the bottom of the river, somersaults, handstands. Today I feel like I have a cold from all the water that went up my nose and down my oesophagus.
I felt like a kid again. It was deliciously fun. Spending the whole day in water. Oh how I have missed the times of summer holidays. I hope that 2006 is filled with many more spontaneous adventures, perhaps often involving water and games.
