The last blog for 2005.
What a ripper year. What a challenge. What a goodie! Spent the morning with Jane and Jo and Mum and it was a good way to spend some of the last day of the year.
Some hi-lights were (in no particular order)
- The West End Community Course
- Finding Newtown Mission and going there
- The Road Trip
- Finding CAT the organisation
- The Blues and Roots Festival
- Hanging out with the old and constant folk
- Hanging out with new folk
- Living out of home for the first time and surviving
- Playing many games with flat mates
- The tea rituals
- Meeting Newtown, and deciding to greet it more in the new year
- Starting to make my own clothes
- Writing myself a manifesto
- Being more brave in scary situations
- Learning Spanish
- Jo
-Discovering the joy of Chai
- The overland track and discovering the joy of bushwalking with comfy boots and backpacks.
Of course there was many lovely delights in the year that passed
The community course was a nice way to end the year, it’s added a whoel new sense of challenge to the years happenings.
Perhaps tomorrow I can write about hopes for the new year.
